These figures align closely withthe findings of the International Energy Agency(IEA), published in late January.
According to the IEA, global NEV sales were slightly higher, at 6.6 millionunits.
This is 1.5% less than the CPCAs figures.

The CPCA attributes this slump to two main reasons: revamped environmental policies and the COVID pandemic.
And this sounds rather accurate.
