The wait is finally over, the NFL IS BACK!!
you’ve got the option to smell the pigskin in the air and it smells amazing.
Welcome to my AFC Breakdown!

Picking the winner of this division is a crapshoot.
The Bills, Jets, and Dolphins, in my eyes are all equals.
It really comes down to who’s healthy in December.

As a Dolphins fan history is not on our side, but it is a new year.
This isn’t the same dog shit division that you’ve beat up on the last 3 years.
11 wins in this division and schedule is more impressive than winning 13 games in the NFC.

Luckily, their last 6 games are relatively easy outside of playing the Dolphins in Week 15.
The Jets get hot late and will be a scary wild card team.
New England Patriots
There’s a good chance the Patriots start 0-5.

This team is awful.
They have no life at making the playoffs this year.
Enjoy your top 10 pick and focus on the future.

Bengals 12-5
Fuck, this is tough but I have to give it to them.
Burrow was sacked 41 times last year, and they still found a way to go 12-4.
Some call it addition by subtraction, but I call it I hope you know what you’re doing.

In this pass happy NFL having a lock down secondary is almost as important as an offensive line.
3.Pittsburgh Steelers 11-6
Jersey Jerry sold me.
I’m bought into the Pickett year two hype and there’s nothing I can do about it.

The Steelers addressed their horrible offensive line by adding Nate Herbig, and Issac Seumalo.
Baltimore Ravens 9-8
The Baltimore Ravens will always be in the mix.
I put them at 9-8 but they could very easily win 10-11 games this year.

Starting with resigning Lamar to a 5-year $260M contract.
Lamar only played in 12 games last year and still put up a combined 20 TD’s.
If he’s healthy, he’s still one of the best QB’s in the league.

Odell is a good player, but he’s not elite.
The Jags should run away with this division but I wouldn’t rule out Tennessee just yet.
Tennessee on the other hand, were the exact opposite.

Jags 10-7
Adding Calvin Ridley to this already high powered offense is going to be huge for Jacksonville.
The Jags will also have a great 1-2 punch in the backfield with Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby.
Defensively the Jags have one of the best linebacker combinations in the league in Devin Lloyd and Josh Allen.

Derrick Henry is still a fucking unit.
Every year he’s supposed to “slow down” but he doesn’t.
Last year Henry ran for over 1,500 yards and had 13 touchdowns.

What held the Titans back last year was their depleted WR core and putrid offensive line.
How’d they fix that?
They also went out and drafted Peter Skoronski in the first round to help improve the offensive line.

Both teams blow, no reason to try and gas either one of them up.
If I had to pick between the Texans and the Colts, I’d lean towards the Texans.
Both teams stink no reason to deep dive into the bottom feeders of the AFC South.

Unfortunately, I can relate to Charger, Raider, and Bronco fans.
I had to deal with Brady and after that was over the Bills drafted Josh Allen.
I feel your guys pain, there’s just nothing you might do it about it.

Mahomes is the most talented QB to ever play the game.
You have no chance at stopping him and it’s just one of those things you have to accept.
Los Angeles Chargers 10-7
Justin Herbert and the Chargers are like a side piece.

Justin Herbert, is great, but he’s not a winner.
He was 29-13 at Oregon and is currently 25-24 as an NFL QB.
Denver Broncos 8-9
The Broncos are the hardest team to predict this year.
They’re either going to be in the mix or the laughing stock of the league.
Nataniel Hakcett was gen-z kid without a GPS, he was lost, and had no where to go.
The Broncos offense last year insufferable to watch.
It was an embarrassment.
The Broncos defense had 10 games in which their opponent scored less than 20 points.
The Broncos only won 4 of those games.
Las Vegas Raiders 7-10
The Raiders are like the hookers on the old strip, they suck.
To be fair, the Raiders do have two outstanding edge rushers in Max Crosby and Chandler Jones.
Hopefully those two can mask the egregious stench in the Raiders secondary but I doubt it.
