Does this mean you should buy it there?
Well thats a tricky question, with both sides having some reasonable arguments in their favor.
Hey, your unwavering allegiance to Steam is kinda weird.

You’re being weird.
Borderlands, on the other hand, is a bonafide phenomenon.
The whole series has sold tens of millions of copies.

Its still being played by thousands of people daily.
Thats a tricky choice, and not one I can make on my own.
Better hope all of your friends are willing to make the transition to the Epic Store with you.

Angel:Dont be like that.
No ones forcing you to move to Epic full stop.
Credit: Gearbox
Devil:Dont expect me to begratefulfor that.

Everyones said the same thing aboutUplay, andOrigin.
Its too inconvenient, they should just release on Steam and have done with it, blah blah blah.
Now no one even questions their existence.
Hell, they said the same thingabout Steamwhen it launched.
Devil:Epics not doing themselves any favors by buying exclusives out from under Steam.
Angel:How is that Epics fault, though?
Developerschosethat option because they could take advantage of the better revenue split at the Epic Store.
And several of them have been vocal about the fact that its just a better place for them.
They dont get lost in the free-for-all that is the Steam store, for starters.
Devil:No, competition is when a store has better features that entice both customers and developers.
Buying exclusives to force gamers to come to you is rigging the rivalry in your favor.
Epic doesnt have any of the conveniences Steam does.
Why should I have to move to a store with less features for me?
Angel:Areachievementsreally worth digging your heels in over?
Steam didnt even have them until a few years after its release.
Isnt that a little unrealistic?
Devil:I guess well have to agree to disagree.
I dont want to be forced to play a game on an unfamiliar platform I dont find appealing.
But can we agree at least that theanti-Chinese sentimentwrapped up in the debate is more than a little scary?
Devil:Phew, yeah… even I dont want to go there.
