These titles wont be ported to other platforms.
A big benefit of the Switch is that you dont need a TV to play games on it.
In simpler times this is neat, in these trying times it could save relationships.
PlayStation Now and Xbox Game Pass are an absolute delight if you dont have a huge library of games.
The Xbox Game Pass offering is better than the PlayStation equivalent.
But PlayStation Now is totally worth getting too.
Which accessories do I need?
Depends on what you want to do.
If you want to play local multiplayer, youll need a second controller.
If youre going to play by yourself or online, you dont need much.
Otherwise you could consider a cheap gaming headset, I gotthis oneand it works wonderful for all three consoles.
So what games should I pick up today?
There are a ton of classics you could get for cheap for all three systems.

You dont have to ownModern Warfareto play it and its totally free, no subscription or anything needed.
DOOM Eternal (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
DOOM Eternalsets a new bar for first-person shooters.
Fair warning though: both games are tough as nails.
Only get these if youre looking for a challenge.
Totally worth it though.
The first game is on Game Pass as well and it still holds up today.
It gets pretty difficult, but just take your time and youll do okay.
