First things first: fire up the Task Manager by pressingCtrl+Shift+Escon your keyboard.

Then navigate to the Startup tab.
you’re able to sort apps by impact level by tapping on the Startup Impact column.
I like Spotify, but I dont need it to loadevery timeI turn on my PC.

Alternatively, right-select a list item and select Disable from there.
But you’re free to also disable startup apps via Windows 11s tweaks menu.
Simply initiate the Start menu and bang out Startup apps.

Startup services are not quite the same thing as startup apps.
Whereas apps only load once a user logs on, services apply toalluser accounts on your PC.
Still, these changes are reversible, so youre unlikely to set your PC aflame by disabling a service.
If none of that dissuaded you, pressWin+Rand throw in msconfig.
Alternatively, punch in msconfig from the Start menu.
This will open a window titled System Configuration.
Head to the Services tab, where youll likely see a bazillion services listed.
From here you’re free to uncheck the services youd like to disable.
When in doubt, a web search can provide more information on whether a service is safe to disable.
But again, proceed with caution.
And thats about it.
