I love reading on theKindle.
There is one deeply frustrating element ofAmazonsereader, though: Popular Highlights.
40% off TNW Conference!

The problem is its awful.
Many of the Popular Highlights displayed are trite, the literary version ofLive Laugh Love.
Sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a bit.

This isnt all thats wrong with the Kindles Popular Highlights feature its also distracting as all hell.
And Popular Highlights fuck this up.
Im better than that.

Youre better than that.
Friends, wereallbetter than that.
Yes, you areverywelcome.

Alas, no more.
There is one issue though: you now have to turn this off foreachbook.
Remember when I said alas earlier?
Well, thats because previously when turning off Popular Highlights was in regular configs the feature would remain gone.
Now, it needs to be condemned to hell each time you start a new novel.
I sacrifice a married man to Jane Austens ghost each day in the hope this reverses.
And until that pays dividends?
I hope this piece helps.
So go, friend, thrive live your best jabroni-free, Popular Highlights-less life.
