Notre Dame hasn’t one of those since Brady Quinn.
Notre Dame already has an offensive identity.

And smash teams into oblivion.
One on one coverage on the outside against Hartman is going to be a problem for teams all year.
And that is just the offense.
Seniors and grad students all over the place.
I’ve seen people (morons) saying that Notre Dame won’t cover the -20.5.
They haven’t read the paragraphs above.
That’s not Notre Dame’s fault.

I am fearful that realignment kills Duke Football, but not before ND kills them first.

Week 7: vs USC
I am salivating.
I am out for blood.
Notre Dame hung with USC for 4 quarters last year.
They never gave up even though Caleb Williams won the Heisman that night.
Drew Pyne played the game of his life.
He just isn’t a guy.
He ain’t Caleb Williams.
It was a narrow gap between Notre Dame and USC last year.
It’ll be under the lights.
The stadium will be ROCKING.
I hope it’s cold.
I hope there’s weather.
I hope ND plays bully ball again.
This is effectively a playoff game in the middle of the season.
Both should be top 5 at this point.

Week 9: vs Pitt
Pitt is back to being Pitt.
Great looking uniform though.
Name me another team in America who willing plays three teams in the top 10?

And…everyone running around joining conferences is killing the sport.
Clemson will eventually leave the ACC for the SEC and another league will die because of it.
ND remains the only school with integrity.
This is a game where Notre Dame wins because they stand for something.

Notre Dame will have all of those things in their chest as they rip through Clemson.
Notre Dame is on the beach at this point.
It’s just about tuning up for the playoffs and giving the seniors a great send off.
It sickens me that the final meaningful home game for Stanford will be getting slaughtered by Notre Dame.
