Problem was, that cut didnt see theaters. Studio executives had other ideas. They wanted to arbitrarily slash into the runtime so that more screenings could happen. Embiid/Jokic/Giannis all play each other between this past weekend and next Sunday. With things so close between all three guys, the head to head matchups become even more important. In a “what have you done for me lately” throw in of award, that stuff matters. On Saturday, Jokic threw up a 31/6/11 and got the best of Giannis and the Bucks. That same night, Embiid got outplayed by Bismack Biyombo and the Sixers were blown out....

At this point of the season, it’s about winning the games you’re supposed to. These are the games the Celts have to win, and that’s what they did. After a 13 day West Coast road trip, the first game back can be tricky. We just saw what the Pacers are capable of in a game like this, even without Haliburton.
