Im not really a $3,000 computer kind of guy.
Normally Id suggest saving yourself a grand by building your own system but thats not for everyone.
The Aurora R8 in the configuration I tested is a monster.

Its a first-class experience for people whodont do loading screens.
Its so powerful that I found myself oddly frustrated by my inability to overwhelm it.

Thats a good thing though, because Alienwares always bucked the status-quo.
Thanks to its diminutive MicroATX motherboard, the R8 is Alienwares smallest desktop supporting dual GPUs.

Theres room for growth.
There are as always a few things I didnt like about this computer.

If loudness is a consideration for you: consider this one of the loudest.
This isnt a minor quibble: the tower housing a $3,000 computer shouldnt have cheap feet.
Those problems aside, its easy to recommend this R8 build with Intel 9thgen processor and RTX 2080 graphics.
