Leonardo was built as part of The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU).
Whats arguably most interesting about Leonardo is that it was apparently designed with upgradability in mind.
Earlier this year the EuroHPC laid outfuture-facing plansinvolvingquantumprocessing upgrades for its existing supercomputers.
Going forward, Leonardo is slated for some fancy quantum upgrades.
