For the most part I don’t care about sports jerseys and the changes made to them.
Just moved on with my day.
Others really care and it’s what they get up for.
To each their own.
It’s just one of those things I don’t usually bat an eye at.
That’s why when I first heard about all this MLB jersey complaining I didn’t flinch.
Yeah, not great.
Spacing all over the place, not centered, and sizing off on the numbers.
Alright maybe it was a bad batch of jerseys?
Nope, seemingly every day the pictures get worse and worse.
Then I saw Cal Raleigh’s see through pants last night.
LOOK AT THE PANTS!
I know women love to see a man in baseball pants, but this seems excessive.
That’s what the MLB pants are like?
What happens when you have a darker jersey color with white pants?
This is actually unbelievable.

Fanatics customer support responded like it was just a random fuck up on an at-home purchase.

Guys, I’m starting to think MLB fucked up here.
That’s not supposed to be the case with professional MLB jerseys.
My question is what happened?
How do you fuck up this bad?
Everything was relatively fine last year and it was the same people making these, no?
It’s been Nike contracting Fanatics to manufacture them since 2020.
How do we get THIS bad?
Were trying to see to it our guys have what they need in the fashion that they need it.
And its reflective of what being a major-league ballplayer should be reflective of.
Its an ongoing dialogue.
Hopefully, we can get some things done over the course of the next six weeks of spring training.
As a constant Manfred complainer I don’t even think it’s fair to get on him here.
How would we possibly expect a jersey manufacturer to be this bad?
Here’s a lot of money, now go make normal looking jerseys for the players.
A fair understanding one would assume.
The first few years with them were pretty normal, no?
Now it’s like Mintzy took over and is hand making these himself.
Oh to be a fly on the wall over at Fanatics HQ these days.
Would love to see a one episode Netflix doc on this soon.
