We’re in the middle of the golden age of Godzilla and it’s beautiful.
Brought back major nostalgic 1954 OG vibes in the best way.
Even Steven Spielberg was blown away which brought director Takashi Yamazaki to tears.

It served as a nice “have on while you’re going to sleep” piece of content.
But now we turn our attention back to the Legendary Pictures Monsterverse movies.
Godzilla and Kong are set to do battle once again at the end of next month.

The first Godzilla-Kong was fun and did its job.
This folks, is cinema.
Now have another trailer for this upcoming blockbuster and it gives us a real idea of what to expect.

That would be a lot of fun.
Destruction, chaos, death, giant monsters, and more chaos.
The American version of Godzilla movies should be glued together with this kind of nonsense.

If we’re going to attempt that route then let Takashi Yamazaki give it a whirl in his world.
The American version should be focused on chaos, explosions, and a departure from all reality.
How awesome is that?

We’re getting Godzilla going Super Saiyan mode?
Take my fucking money.
Skar King has been confirmed for a while.
The Americans then work with Kong in the lab to build him that gauntlet/mecha-arm.
Those last two sentences I just typed out are what all these reality-escaping movies should be about.
There’s also a second villain though named Shimo who they are “hiding.”
She’s a giant reptile who fires off a frost bite breath as you might see below.
That’s got some Destroy All Monsters feel to it and it looks incredible.
RIP to that city by the way.
There will be no recovering from the damage those four beasts cause.
Any human in the area will almost certainly be wiped from existence.
It’ll be all the stupid fun that the movies used to be about.
