I really should have been blogging this Young Thug trial from the jump.
They seem to be getting crazier and crazier.
And I’m just sitting here watching them thinking to myself, “Damn.. this shit seems interesting…
I really wish I would have been paying attention to this the whole time.”
Then I Google something like, “Young Thug trial explained in less than 5 minutes”.
I skim a few articles, but I don’t actually learn anything.
The video embedded to the top of this blog from yesterday is maybe the most ridiculous one yet.
Which could be considered coercion.
So Young Thug’s lawyer called them out for in court.
Note: The district attorney over this case.
The one who met with the judge and witness… is none other than Fani Willis.
Fani Willis is also the district attorney who prosecuted Donald Trump.
Make what you will out of that.
Anyways, my main takeaway from this is that Young Thug’s lawyer rules.
Any lawyer who is willing to go to jail for you is an awesome lawyer.
I’d have him represent me in a RICO trial any day.
I admittedly don’t know a ton about what’s actually happening in this trial.
I really just know the basics.
But allegedly it’s more than that.
Young Thug is allegedly the brain behind the entire YSL operation.
A month after being arrested, Young Thug was denied bail.
So he’s been there since June 2022.
The trial didn’t even start until well over a year later in November 2023.
The grand jury indictment alleges 182-instanges of YSL participating in “street gang activity”.
But Young Thug and his constituents will tell you that his music is merely a form of artistic expression.
I’d be remiss to not mention that Young Thug and the rest of the YSLgangfriendly music group (?
We’re not going to talk shop".
But that doesn’t even scratch the surface.
I’m not even sure where to begin.
Or where to go with this at all.
He was instantly busted.
There was a time where people thought Lil Wayne was going to make an appearance on the stand.
Apparently he was a integral part of this case.
Apparently there’s a whole fucking debate about what certain YSL terms actually mean.
(YSL, THUG, SLIME,etc.)
Honestly the videos go on forever.
I have no clue what direction this trial is trending.
The whole thing looks like a clown show.
The witnesses, are again, complete cartoon characters.
All of which who are putting on a master class of avoiding answering questions.
All while Young Thug just stands in the back of the courtroom itching his balls.
I still don’t know exactly what’s happening in this case, or what direction this is trending.
I’m afraid I’ve failed you in that regard.
