The feelings of negativity and ineffectiveness are what differentiate it from regular tiredness or exhaustion.

And so if its something that I cant do, I cant ask anyone else to do that either.

Even those who were skeptical at first are now becoming more aware of the effects that overwork can bring.

I was like okay this is not really possible or its kind of like made-up.

But the fast-paced life of an entrepreneur shifted his thinking.

Thats what happened to me.

Whats passion got to do with it?

Obsessive passion, or entrepreneurs who were motivated by status, money, and other rewards.

As one might guess, entrepreneurs who are motivated by status or money are more likely to experience burnout.

This comes through quite clearly in some of the successful leadership teams that have grown in the Netherlands.

I like discussing it with my family.

I even visit suppliers with my kids.

Its part of my personal life.

Destiny beliefs added yet another layer to the cake.

Meanwhile, those with a more flexible mindset were less likely to report feeling burned out.

This happens most often when harmful workplace behaviors seep into the company culture.
