If cats can be simultaneously dead and alive, canspacealiens exist and not exist at the same time?
For millennia weve gazed at the skies with a binary perspective.
Why not both?

You have to assume its one or another, which makes it essentially both until we know for sure.
The question is whether the universe knows for sure.
And, to that, we answer: dont be ridiculous.
If the universe has inherent sentience then all bets are off.
We could be characters in a turtles dream.
And that means observation works differently in the quantum world.
Despite how it might feel, a watched pot doesnt technically boil any slower.
However, in quantum terms, when we conduct measurements we fundamentally change reality.
A quantum particle can exist in multiple states at once.
We force it into one or another when we measure or observe it.
In quantum physics, the cat is both dead and alive until you fire up the box.
But wait theres more!
The quantumness previously attributed to the cat gets shuffled across the Heisenberg cut.
Entanglement was long thought to be an absolute property of reality.
Basically, the universe doesnt just pretend at quantum physics.
Schrodingers cat is entangled to the observer outside of the box.
But, to the cat, youre the entangled one.
But wait theres even more!!
The outside-iest observer is the friend.
Now wheres base reality at?
Ill tell you: terrified.
One false move in such a reality and… bam, it all comes crashing down.
The big idea here is that particles are all just tiny balls of potential that exist to be observed.
Imagine a coin spinning just out of view.
Arguably, this is why the multiverse could be directly under our noses without us ever suspecting.
And now, aliens
It was a long walk, but heres the payoff.
If this particular multiverse theory is true, then aliens should definitely exist.
Theyre currently entangled and, once we observe them, theyll either exist or they wont.
Which means they exist.
However theres some bad news too.
If the multiverse theory is true, then its also a certainty that aliens do not exist.
Because, from their perspective, were the entangled ones.
Maybe we do exist, maybe we dont.
Just like Schrodingers cat.
But what if were not lucky?
