Meta will no longer force you to login with a Facebook account when you use your VR headsets.
The company stressed that the Meta account isnt a social media profile.
Youll need to set up a Meta Horizon profile, with a username, photo, and avatar.

Basically, what Oculus used to be.
It’s free, every week, in your inbox.
Privacy-wise, the update gives you the option to decide how and if you want people to follow you.

Thank you, Zuck?
When Meta made the decision tolink Oculus with Facebook accountstwo years ago, it pissed VR enthusiasts off.

No sorry there are privacy issues here.

I dont wish to merge or involve my fb with my gaming system.
Serious question I will keep asking until answered.
I dont want to have to link my FB profile to my VR profile.

If that isnt a win-win scenario, I dont know what is.
